Food Taste Fundraising IdeasTake advantage of the love of food people have and look into food taste fundraisers. There is nothing like combining events people love to participate in along with your Fundraising Ideas. If you want one of the easiest food taste fundraisers, limit your sampling to only cookies made from frozen cookie dough that you can offer as an additional fundraiser. Here is how it might work: Contact our sales office and book a pre formed Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Commit at that time to a school wide event and purchase a case or more of each available flavor. We suggest pre formed cookie dough because it is so much easier to work with. Obviously you will want to plan the date for your food taste fundraiser and promote it as aggressively as you can through take home hand outs, advertising in a school newsletter and posting it on the school bill board. You want people to know that you are having a cookie tasting party. Once you get your cookie dough line up some volunteers to cook some of the cookies. Each box you purchased will make 48 half ounce cookies. We suggest you break those 48 cookies in half so you have 96 adequate sized samples to give away. When people arrive at your event hand them a cookie dough order form that we will give you at no charge. Direct them to the first tasting station which should coincide with the first cookie flavor on the order form. The greeter should help the visitor fill out the top of the order form before reaching the first taste station. After your guests taste the first cookie ask their opinion of the flavor and quality of the cookie. If they like it ask if they would like to add a box of cookie dough to their order form. Fill in the appropriate box and send them off to the next taste station. Typically cookie dough order forms have 8, 11 or 16 flavors on them so you will need to have that many taste stations. From experience we can tell you that people love freshly baked cookies. Once they taste some of their favorites they will be very likely to purchase one or more boxes from your school. At the end of these food taste fundraisers have all the students in the school take home order forms and hold a traditional Cookie Dough Fundraising sale. You will be pleasantly surprised at the results. |
