But if you have national merchants in town that will give you good offers then that's your best option. Alternatively approach some local stores as long as they are extremely popular in your community. There are lots of towns that have locally owned restaurants that are known by everyone in the town. Those kind of stores and restaurants make great discount card merchants.

3. Price It Right: Although it is not written in stone the market price for discount cards has been $10 for a long time. We get lots of groups that want to charge more and we suggest they think twice. Yes you might make a little more money per card but you will probably sell less cards. There are certain acceptable price points in fundraising and $10 is one of them.
